When the pressure of the press chamber is insufficient, the corresponding solutions can be taken from the aspects of equipment adjustment and oil treatment, as follows:

Equipment adjustment and maintenance

- Check and replace press screw and press strip

- Check the wear situation: carefully check the wear degree of the press screw and press strip, if the wear is serious, it will lead to the press chamber space becomes larger, the pressure can not be effectively established, should be replaced in time with a new press screw and press strip, to ensure that its size and shape meet the requirements of the equipment, in order to restore the normal press gap and pressure.

- Adjust the installation position: If the press screw and press strip are improperly installed, such as too loose installation or position deviation, the pressure will be affected.

Adjust the installation to ensure that the gap between the screw and the strip, and between the screw and the cage is uniform and in accordance with the technical parameters of the device.

- Adjust the cake making mechanism

- Adjusting cake thickness: appropriately reduce the thickness of the cake, so that the oil is subjected to greater resistance in the press chamber, thereby increasing the pressure of the press chamber.

However, it should be noted that the cake thickness cannot be too small, otherwise it may lead to too high oil content of the cake meal or too large equipment load.

- Check the pie opening: clean up the debris and blockage at the pie opening to ensure the smooth pie opening.

If the cake opening is deformed or damaged, it should be repaired or replaced in time to ensure the normal cake process and the pressure in the press chamber can be established stably.

- Check and maintain the drive system

- Check the power output: check the operation of the motor to ensure that the motor output power is normal.

If the motor is faulty, such as the motor winding short circuit, open circuit, etc., will lead to insufficient power, affect the speed and torque of the press screw, and then make the press chamber pressure is insufficient, at this time need to repair or replace the motor.

- Check the transmission parts: for the belt driven oil press, check whether the belt is slack or slipping, if there is a problem, the belt tension should be adjusted or replaced.

For the gear driven oil press, check the wear and lubrication status of the gear, replace the gear with serious wear in time, add or replace the appropriate lubricating oil to ensure transmission efficiency.

Oil handling optimization

- Control oil moisture

- Drying treatment: If the oil moisture is too high, the oil will be too wet in the press chamber, unable to form enough pressure.

Drying equipment or natural drying can be used to reduce the moisture of oil to a suitable range.

Different oil, its appropriate water content is different, such as soybean general water content of about 12%-13%, peanut water content of about 8%-10%.

- moderate moisture: If the oil moisture is too low, it will lead to too dry oil, hard texture, difficult to be pressed out of the oil, but also affect the pressure of the press chamber.

At this time, according to the situation of the oil, the appropriate water treatment can be carried out to achieve the best press water state of the oil.

- Optimized oil pretreatment

- Grinding size: Ensure that the grinding size of the oil is uniform and suitable.

If the crushing is too coarse, the oil is difficult to be fully squeezed in the press chamber, and sufficient pressure cannot be established;

Crushing too fine may lead to oil blockage in the press chamber, affecting the oil and pressure.

For example, the grain size of rapeseed after grinding is generally recommended to pass a 40-60 mesh screen.

- Steaming effect: steaming is an important part of oil pretreatment, which can denature the protein in the oil, reduce the viscosity of the oil, and improve the oil yield and pressure of the press chamber.

It is necessary to control the temperature and time of steaming and stir-frying, so that the oil can achieve the best degree of maturation.

Operating parameter adjustment

- Adjust the feed amount

- Increase the feed amount: If the equipment load allows, increase the feed amount appropriately to improve the oil filling degree in the press chamber, thereby increasing the mutual extrusion and friction between the oil and improving the pressure of the press chamber.  However, it is necessary to avoid excessive feed resulting in equipment overload.

- Uniform feeding: ensure the uniformity of feeding and avoid the situation of feeding more and less.

Uneven feed will cause the pressure in the press chamber to be unstable and affect the press effect.  Uniform feeding can be achieved by means of automatic feeding devices or enhanced manual operation.

- Control the oil temperature

- Increase the temperature: according to the type and characteristics of oil, appropriatel
