What Is Cold Pressed Oil?
Time:Mon-11-21 hits:
The cold pressing process provides consumers with a new, green and pollution-free oil category with high nutritional value, which maximizes the preservation of various other fat-soluble nutrients in the oil, such as vitamin E, A, and the unique flavor of oil. The esteemed concept of eating natural and organic non-polluting food provides a new alternative edible oil product.
Cold-pressed oil is sent to the oil press for squeezing without heating or at low temperature (60°C) before the oil is squeezed. The temperature of the extracted oil is lower, and the acid value is also lower. Generally, no refining is required, and refined oil is obtained after precipitation and filtration.
However, because of the characteristics of cold-pressed oil, the yield of cold-pressed oil is generally half lower than that of hot-pressed oil, so the price of cold-pressed oil is twice as expensive as that of hot-pressed oil.
Compared with hot pressed oil, cold pressed oil is more original, with clear color, lighter taste, not easy to put, short storage time, and richer nutrients.
